Bootcamp is a great way to try different sports and physical exercises, all under expert tuition and if there is one you aren’t so good at – at least you are only doing it for a minute then you swap to do something else which you may be better at. I would never have known that I was good at boxing and skipping. Overall… it is really great fun and a brilliant way of improving and enhancing my fitness. I love bootcamp – I’m not always sure why but it is outside and great fun.
Just wanted to say how much I enjoy the Henfield boot camp. It is completely different to circuit training which I enjoy but because it’s outside it just makes you feel like you can do more. In the 12 times that I have been I have really noticed my fitness improving and my upper body becoming more defined. Where as before …at my usual circuit training class I was absolutely useless at sprinting, with your method of short sprints I have really noticed a difference as have other people. I’ll certainly continue to get to as many boot camps as possible and would recommend it to anyone that wants to get fit and feel great.
The workout is for all bits of your body. Great mix of cardio and strength. Love the boxing – never tried that before. Can really feel the squats making a difference to all the important parts
I went along on my own and discovered good fun, exercising in the sun with a great bunch of people of all levels of fitness. Plenty of scope to go at own level with weights and reps to match! And of course your own level just keeps on improving!
Have been using Saturday morning bootcamp on Henfield common for a number of weeks now. Having hibernated from sport over the winter, it was great to get fit for skiing in March and now the upcoming Cricket season. Have gone from finding it painful to walk after session 1
to finding my pace and really feel it making a difference in my stamina etc. Love the variety of exercises and being outdoors rather than in a gym and I am told it burns more calories !
I joined Bootcamp in January after doing hardly any energetic exercise for more than 25years and I am gradually rebuilding my general fitness. I am already much more supple and now have the stamina to keep going for the whole session. I love the variety of exercises we do as no session is ever the same and in addition to normal exercises with and without weights, I have also learnt how to box.Everyone is friendly and supportive and it is great exercising in the fresh air.
